D

ago still holds good, and I do not think we

have sufficient ground for objection, though

the matter does not appear to be altogether

satisfactory. In particular, I think it

would be useful to have more information as to

what is intended to be done about the provision

of new government offices. Under the present

schemes, these will be removed temporarily to

the existing Government House, but as this is

structurally unsound, this does not appear to

be satisfactory except as a purely temporary

arrangement, and I think we should ask to be

assured that it will not be maintained longer

than is absolutely necessary.

? Approve Governor's whoposal and comment

as above regarding the removal of the present

central offices.

Approve the conversion of a

despatch into an open despatcn with a view to

future publication.
