Re:- Captain John Reynolds, Shipmaster.
I have to acknowledge the receipt of your
communication of the 18th instant in regard to the
above named patient.
Captain Reynolds was transferred
to the St. Alfege's Hospital on the 30th July, 1938,
and the sum of £16. 16. 9. belonging to him, was handed
over to the patient before he left our care.
He made no payment to us in respect of his stay
here and I enclose herewith a copy of an account which
we sent to the Colonial Office on the 12th instant.
As Captain Reynolds was treated in one of our private
wards it is hoped that the Crown Agents for the Colonies
may be good enough to defray the cost of his maintenance.
I am, Sir,
Yours faithfully,
(Sd) F.A. LYON.
Secretary.
