in the Colony for the purpose of residing therein after the said date shall within three months after arrival" and by substituting
"shall immediately on the publication of a proclamation bringing the Ordinance into force, and every such person who, while the Ordinance is in force, arrives in the Colony for the purpose of residing therein shall immediately"; (b) by deleting the words "the aforesaid date" and by substituting "date of the last pro- clamation bringing this Ordinance into force.'

4. Section 6 of the Principal Ordinance is amended- (a) by deleting the words "within one month" in subsection (1) and by substituting the word "immediately";
(b) by adding thereto the following new sub-
section:
(3) This section only applies to a change of residence during the same period
in which the Ordinance is in force
as that in which the original return was made.
5. Section 9 of the Principal Ordinance is amended
of section 9. by deleting the words "within one month" and by

substituting the word "immediately".
6. Section 10 of the Principal amended-
Ordinance is
(a) by inserting the symbol "-(1)" immediately after the figure 10." in the number of the section, and by deleting the words "within one month" and by substituting the word "immediately";
(b) by adding the following subsection :--
"(2) This section only applies to a person who leaves the Colony during a period in which the Ordinance is in force.".
