as the emblems of approved memorial playing-fields

throughout the Empire, subject in each case to the

Foundation receiving a satisfactory recommendation and

report on the scheme from the Officer Administering the

Government of the territory concerned.

4.

If it is desired to submit a memorial playing-

field scheme for consideration as a King George's Field,

with a view to authority being given to display the

Heraldic Panels, it will be necessary to furnish

particulars of the scheme on the appropriate form to be

obtained from the Secretary of the Foundation, 77,

Eccleston Square, Belgrave Road, London, S.W.1. The

form should be returned, accompanied by your report and

recommendation, and a plan and elevation of the piers in

which it would be proposed to incorporate the Heraldic

Panels.

5. I should explain that, as the Foundation has no

power to apply any of its funds outside the United

Kingdom, it would not be possible for the Panels to be

supplied free of charge. In the case of approved

schemes, however, it would be possible to arrange for the

Panels to be supplied at cost price, plus cost of

transport.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your most obedient, humble servant,

W. Oreusly Gove
