2. It is proposed tist at a later date official
residences will also be allotted to the Secretary for
Chinese Affairs and the Financial Secretary.

It is to be understood that occupants of the
posts in question will in future have the right to occupy
the quarters mentioned but that they may make other
arrangements with the consent of His Excellency the Governor
and on such terms as to Rent Allowance as His Excellency
may decide.
