that I approve the proposals set out

removal of the stores Works from the
Public Works Department and the
creation of a Stores Branch of the
Treasury to do that work, the Branch to
be controlled by an officer bearing the
title Controller of Stores, under the
direct supervision of the Financial
Secretary.
