I have the honour to request your approval

for the grant to the Church Body of the Chinese Congregational Church in Hong Kong (incorporated by Ordinance No.36 of 1912) of two areas of land totalling approximately 10,000 square feet shown coloured red and blue on the attached plan. A copy of the terms and conditions which have been accepted by the corporation is also enclosed. These follow the usual lines in such cases; no premium, a nominal Crown Rent of $1.00 per annum, and a covenant restricting the use of the lot to religious and educational purposes.

It is proposed to use the area coloured red for the purpose of building a school and a meeting place in connection with a mission to boat people, and to use the area coloured blue for the purpose of a school playground.
