Sir,
I am commanded by the Army Council to acknowledge receipt of your letter No. 55971/1/87
dated 5th August, 1958, and in reply to state,
for the information of Mr. Secretary MacDonald,
that the Council will be glad to supply the
€,000 General Service Type Respirators required
for the Air Raid Precautions personnel at Hong
Kong at a cost of eighteen shillings each, and
that they could be delivered almost inmediately
e demand for them is received.
