Sir,
I am commanded by the Army Council to acknowledge
receipt of your letter No.53846/38 dated 24th March, 1938,
and in reply to state, for the information of Mr. Secretary
Ormsby Gore, that they concur in the suggestion to hold an
Inter-Departmental meeting to discuss the proposal for
erecting an aircraft factory in Hong Kong, and will arrange
for a representative to attend.
