copy of which has been transmitted to the Colonial Office
under cover of Foreign Office printed letter No. F 6815/298/10

of the 25th June, I am directed by Viscount Halifax to
inform you that he considers that the three ambulance
aircraft referred to fall under the same category as
those for which the assembly in Hong Kong was granted by
Colonial Office telegram to the Government of Hong Kong
No. 43 of the 2nd March last. Lord Halifax will therefore
be grateful, if Mr. Secretary Macdonald, should he see no
objection, will instruct the Governor of Hong Kong to allow
the assembly of these aircraft under the conditions
specified in Colonial Office telegram No. 21 of the 28th
January last.
2. Copies of this letter are being sent to the
War Office and the Air Ministry.
