Tokyo No.27. Chief Manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai

Bank has informed me that the Japanese are now wishing to

seize the Sincerity Company's property in Canton and enquires

what steps His Majesty's Government intend to take to

protect the property of this Hong Kong Registered Company

and his bank's interests under a mortgage, debenture registered

in Hong Kong on the Company's property.
