536. Local Press and Empire Broadcasts report that
by
s.s.LEANA was recently brought to/shots across bows in the
vicinity of Hong Kong by Japanese Man of War. Master of
the vessel states no truth in this report. Vessel was
boarded on the 30th May off Gap Rock without undue incident
as reported in my H.K.0301B of 15th June not to Admiralty.
