The Japanese have not been informed about other vessels acquired by Marden. They were given certain information about the Haiyu previously because they had confused it with
the Haiyuan, but, unless you see strong reason to the contrary, you should not now inform the Japanese authorities of its transfer to British registry (see in this connexion.
