With reference to Colonial Office letter No. 53730/38
of the 20th May I am directed by Viscount Halifax to state
for the information of Mr. Secretary MacDonald that he concurs
in the reply which it is proposed to return to the enquiry
received from the Governor of Hong Kong on the subject of
the acquisition in Kowloon on sale or lease of land on which
Chinese railway locomotives and commercial rolling stock
may be erected or repaired.

Office, Admiralty, Air Ministry and Board of Trade.
