Sir,
With reference to your letter No.53714/38 of 5th November, 1938, I am commanded by the Army Council to inform you that His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve an alliance between the Pay Section of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps and the Royal Army Pay Corps, Hong Kong. A notification of this alliance will appear in Army Orders in due course.
