for the purposes of these presents AND WHEREAS the parties hereto of the first part have paid the balance of such monies (being the sum of $2,978.23) to the said Tung Wa Hospital who have consented to act as Trustees of these presents and they are desirous of providing for the future application of the said Fund and all additions which may hereafter be made there to upon the Trust in manner hereinafter appearing NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that for effectuating
the said desire and in consideration as well of the premises
as of the terms and conditions hereinafter contained IT IS
HEREBY AGREED AND DECLARED as follows:-
The Tung Wa Hospital shall remain Trustees of these presents and all persons hereinafter becoming Trustees in succession to the said Hospital (all of whom are hereinafter included in the expression "The Trustees") shall hold the said sum of $39,862.98 and all sums of money hereafter given
subscribed or bequeathed for the purposes of these presents
and all investments now or at any time hereafter representing the same or any part thereof (all of which are hereinafter included in the expression "the Trust Fund") and all income arising therefrom upon trust to pay and apply the same in accordance with the provisions and directions hereinafter
contained.
The Trustees shall from time to time invest the Trust
Fund or any part thereof in the purchase of such leasehold properties as the Committee shall prescribe or shall if as and when directed by the Committee place the same on deposit at the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and shall if as and when the Committee shall direct sell or realize any
of such investments and obtain payment of any monies so
deposited as aforesaid.
The Trust Fund shall be kept as a separate fund and its designation "The Brewin Charity Fund" shall in no wise be
changed
