With the approval of His Majesty's Government the Governor
of Hongkong intends to pay an informal visit of two days to
His Majesty's Consulate-General Canton starting July 21st and
travelling both ways by gun boat.
Please request Government to which you are accredited to
arrange for observance of all proper precautions for Governor's
safety.
