Those for which provision should be made on a similar
scale to those on Hong Kong Island are:-
Customs Pass Plantation; Diamond Hill Plantations;
Kowloon Reservoir Catchment Area.
3. Provision for Field Work,
In addition to the forest protection service there is
the question of the work connected with forest maintenance and
afforestation operations. This work will be dealt with by the
field staff which will be concentrated on Hong Kong Island at
the Garden Road quarters and on the Mainland at the Lai Chi Kok quarters. They will (as now) be transported by lorry to
the areas in which work is in progress.
