With reference to your letter of the 9th. June, 1938, relative to the attachment to a Territorial unit for training, I am directed to inform you that you should apply direct to the Officer Commanding the unit you wish to be attached to, who will make, if possible, all the necessary arrangements for your attachment during the period in question.

I am to add however, that such attachment would be purely voluntary and pay and allowances would not be admissible except in an existing authorised vacancy.
