of the hospitals commensurate with
the assistance which will clearly be
necessary for them to receive from
Government in future, and I hope that
the proposals will be accepted by the
Annual Committee and the Permanent Board
of Advisers. The Committee which you
have appointed to report upon the whole
question of the existing hospitalisation
of Hong Kong and to recommend measures
for its reorganisation and improvement
will no doubt afford some guidance as
to the policy to be adopted towards the
Tung Wah Hospital in future.
