I have the honour to refer to your secret despatch of the 28th of May, 1938, and to forward herewith a statement in the newly prescribed form of munitions exported to China from Hong Kong during the period 22nd May, 1938 to 4th June, 1938. copies of similar returns will be forwarded to you
fortnightly by air mail.

be furnished regularly in future to the United
States Consul-General in Hong Kong for his confidential information in accordance with your instructions.
