JE LIDAI 18th MAY 1938.
I have to report that B enemy planes attacked
the Railway between 10.50 and 11.40 hours on the 15th
instant and dropped 40 bombs at Cheklung Station, causing
the following danggen:-
1 pair of rails on main line in front og

and 2 pairs of rails and 15 sleepers in the siding near No.8 point were damaged,
1 crater, 8' x 5' deer, on embankment.
8 No. concrete platform curbs demolished,
about 20 mi.ft main line platfor surface damaged.
Roof, doors and windows of tation Building
demolished.

entirely demolished.

All telegraph and telephone wires broken,

Repairs to track were completed for traffic at
