AIR RAIDS1 24TH AUGUST 1958.
I have to report that 4 enemy planes attacked
the Railway at hek Tan and hek Lung at about 7.00 hours yesterday, the 24th instant, and dropped 5 bombs at the following places:-
1 bomb at Am. 65/5 near East River bridge (5-234' truss girders and 2-60' deck girders), but without any damage to the bridge or track.

hek Ten Bridge (3-100' truss girders and 2-60' deck girders,. No.4 pier was slightly shaken.
