Four air raids. Thirty Japanese planes.
Fifteen bombs
dropped at Nantung and seventeen bombs on Canton-Hankow railway area. Three (possibly four) Japanese and two Chinese
planes brought down during aerial combat at Hamtung.
2. 25th February. Two raids, twenty-three planes. Twelve planes dropped nineteen bombs on aerodrome at Wuchow and five in Kwangsi University grounds. Superficial damage to Standard Company's installation by machine gun bullets from
Japanese planes.
3. 26th February. To raids,
Twenty-nine planes.
Fifteen bombs at Tungkoon, forty-two bombs in Canton-Kowloon
Railway area and thirty-two bombs in Canton-Hankow Railway area.
Damage slight.
4. 27th February. One raid.
Sixteen planes. Two
bombs on Tinho aerodrome, Canton, and seventeen bombs in Canton-
Hankow Railway area. Forty-two houses damaged and forty-one
casualties.
