The Air Attaché learns from a fairly reliable source that 300,000 1924 model Mauser rifles obtained from Germany for the Chinese Government are being despatched to China this week. Same informant reports that the Chinese Legation here are enquiring for torpedos, depth charges, machine guns and anti-aircraft ouns.
I am endeavouring to ascertain the port of shipment of consignment of rifles.
