have appointed a committee,
which are as follows

To consider what developments of studies are desirable and possible in order that the University of Hong Kong may cooperate more effectively with the Universities of China in higher education.
To consider what additional staff and expenditure will be required if such developments are to be pursued.
To consider other proposals for the improvement of the University.
To make recommendations regarding the foregoing.
