Repeal.

or a child under that age at the said date, it shall be presumed until the contrary is proved that the person was a child or a child under that particular age at such date.
6. (1) Any person who contravenes or attempts to contravene or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds in respect of each person who is employed contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or to both such penalties.
(2) Any parent or guardian who :—
(a) causes a child to be employed contrary to the provisions of
this Ordinance, or
(b) permits the employment of such child, or
(c) makes a false statement in respect of the true age of such
child.
shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty pounds or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months or to both such penalties.
7. The Industrial Employment of Ordinance, 1927, is hereby repealed.

SCHEDULE.
RULES.
1. The following shall be deemed to be dangerous trades :—
(a) Any trade in which phosphorus, mercury, arsenic, white lead or explosives
are used.
(b) The manufacture of asphalt, bitumen and cement.
2.
No person shall employ any child or woman in any dangerous trade.
3. No person shall employ any child under the age of thirteen years in any industrial undertaking.
4. No person shall employ any woman or child in any industrial undertaking on the work of cleaning machinery while in motion.
5.—(1) The owner and the manager of every undertaking in which children are employed, shall cause to be kept in English or in Arabic or in Hebrew a running record of all the children at any time employed in such undertaking.
(2) Such record shall contain the following particulars :
(a) name of undertaking;
(b) address of undertaking:
(c) name of employers;
(d) name of manager of undertaking:
(e) name of child:
(f) sex of child;
