THE POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANK AMENDMENT (No. 3) REGULA- TIONS, 1929. DATED NOVEMBER 20, 1929.
I, His Majesty's Postmaster General, under and by virtue of all powers and authorities vested in me in that behalf by the Post Office Savings Bank Acts, 1861 to 1929, or otherwise, do, with the consent of the Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury, make the following Regulations, that is to say :-

3. Regulation 18 (Declaration) of the Principal Regulations is Repeal. hereby repealed and the following Regulation shall be substituted therefor, that is to say :-
18. (1) Subject to the provisions of these Regulations, a Declaration. depositor on opening an account, and, whenever thereafter required so to do, shall specify his Christian name and sur- name, occupation, and residence, and shall make and sign a declaration in the prescribed form.
(2) The declaration shall set forth the particulars of any other accounts the depositor already has in the Post Office Savings Bank including any joint accounts in which his name appears and any accounts opened in trust for him.
(3) This Regulation shall not apply to accounts opened by or under the authority of any Statute where the Statute dis- penses with the making of the prescribed declaration or to cases in which the Postmaster General shall direct that the making of the prescribed declaration is unnecessary. (4) In this Regulation the expression Statute " Statutory Regulations.
