I should be glad to have the opportunity of
thanking you viva voce for the message you sent out to
Hong Kong which helped me enormously in my job. Since
the Governor turned out to be an Old Blundellian, life
was made extremely pleasant for me so much so that I

spent much more time there than in China itself.
