I have the honour to inform you that on the occasion of the recent visit of Marshal of the Royal Air Force, Sir Edward L. Ellington, G.C.B., C.M.G., C.B.E., I undertook to obtain a rough estimate of the cost of extending the Kai Tak aerodrome in a seaward direction.
I now attach copies of a minute dated the 16th of February, 1938, by Mr. A. Nicol, Executive Engineer, Port Development Office, and a minute dated 19th February, 1938, by the Director of Public Works, together with a copy of the plan
mentioned in the former annexure for Sir Edward Ellington's information.
