WHEREAS an agreement has been made between the Ministry of Railways of the National Government of the Republic of China of the one part, and the Government of the British Colony of Hong Kong of the other part, for the working of Through Goods Traffic between the following three connected Railways, namely, the Canton Hankow Railway, the Chinese Section of the Canton Kowloon Railway, and the British
Section of the Canton Kowloon Railway:
AND whereas it becomes desirable to extend such
agreement to include provision for the working of Through Passenger Traffic between the aforesaid Railways:
NOW it is hereby mutually agreed by and between the
three Administrations under Article 37 of the Principal
Agreement to add the following articles to such Agreement:
1. The date set for the commencement of Through Passenger
Traffic between the Three Railways shall be on July 14th
1938, or on such other date as shall prove convenient to
the several parties concerned.
2. The train number of these Through Passenger Trains
shall be known as 301 for South bound traffic and 302 for
North bound traffic, and a Time Table is herein attached.
3. There shall be two trains per week starting from each
terminal station; Monday and Thursday from Kowloon and Sunday
and Thursday from Wuchang.

Rolling-stock shall be supplied by the Canton-Hankow Railway, and all cleaning, both inside and outside, while
these cars are in Kowloon shall be done by the Kowloon
Station at a charge which shall be the subject of a mutual
agreement between the parties concerned.
5. Consumable stores necessary for locomotive operation
will or shall be issued on the authority of the locomotive
driver who signs the necessary store issue note, a copy of
