With reference to my despatch No. 320
dated the 20th of April, 1938, reporting the resignation of Dr. (Mrs.) G. R. Nash from her temporary appointment as Lady Medical Officer, I have the honour to recommend for your approval the appointment in her place of Dr. (Mrs.) Alta Frances Stout, M.B., Ch. B. of the University of Edinburgh on the usual temporary basis, as from the 16th of June, 1938.
