The Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong, presents

his compliments to the Under Secretary of State for

the Colonies and is directed to enquire regarding the

cost of the Secretary of State's telegram to the

Governor, Singapore, in reply to telegram No.178

of 17th June, 1938, from the Governor, Hong Kong,

relating to an application for a visa for Arcady

Feodorovitch Tsepiloff, chauffeur to Mr. H. E. Morris,

a British subject.

A deposit in local currency was made at the

time and early information is now requested as to the

amount due in sterling in order that a remittance may be forwarded accordingly.
