H.M.S. Broke
at Plymouth.
7th July, 1935.
To whom it may concern:
This is to certify that I have known Lt. - Commander
B. M. Douglas intimately since 1921. I know him to
be a very able officer of the highest integrity, a
good organiser and though strict a scrupulously fair
disciplinarian. I strongly recommend him for any
position of trust where general all round ability,
particularly in organising and taking charge of men,
are necessary attributes.
