The Commission on Overseas Affairs or the Consul for China at the locality may in case of necessity, appoint Inspectors to visit the place of work, and the employer shall receive them and answer explicitly any questions put to him by the Inspectors.
Treatment accorded to emigrant labourers by the employer shall, in accordance with international labour rules, be the same as that enjoyed by natives of the locality.
Provided that these Principles are not contraven- ed, then a labour contract may be amended after execution by the parties subject to the approval of the Commission on Overseas Affairs.
These Principles have been drawn up by the Commission on Overseas Affairs and shall come into force when they have been approved by the Executive Yuan.
