Your Cable of 31st August quoted alternative (c) but
assume you meant alternative (b) in my Cable of
30th August.
On the assumption that head offices are not transferred
to Hongkong, there is no reason why the financial
facilities of the Hongkong market should not be fully
used by branches in Hongkong of the Chinese Government
banks for purposes mentioned even if formal state of
war exists.
