With reference to Foreign

Office at No. F. 7203/4880/10 of the

11th of October, I am etc., to transmit

to you, to be laid before Mr. Secretary

Eden, a copy of a secret despatch from

the Governor of Hong Kong reporting an

attack by Japanese aeroplanes on a train

on the Canton-Kowloon Railway. It will

be noted that the majority of the rolling

stock in question belonged to the British

section of the Railway.
