In continuation of memorandum No.C.19085/37 of the 1st November relative to aeroplanes to be supplied to China by Messrs.Gloster Aircraft Company, the Department of Overseas Trade forward a copy of a letter from Messrs. Hawker Siddeley Aircraft Company dated the 10th November saying that difficulties have been raised regarding the erection of these aeroplanes in Hongkong, and request to be informed what answer should be sent to kesers. Copies of this memorandum have been sent to the Colonial Office and the Air Ministry.
