This was discussed between Sir H. Moore
and Mr. Orde this morning, and the Foreign Office
will prepare a Memorandum at once for the Cabinet
Committee in which they will include:-
(1) A clearer statement of Madame Chiang Kai
Chek's proposal in No. in this file,
(2) A note that the Hong Kong Government dislikes
the idea of a depôt in Hong Kong for assembling
aeroplanes for the Chinese Government.
Wait for the Foreign Office note.
