Japanese destroyer today fired on
Chinese Customs cruiser, incident reported fully in Commodore Hong Kong's message 22 37 11 to the
Admiralty. There is no doubt in the minds of the
Commodore and self that the Chinese vessel was rell within the three mile limit when fired upon.
