In the case alarming accounts reach

London of assault by Chinese on the Japanese Consul

General Hong Kong facta are as follows:- On Sunday

after noon two British Army Officers and two membera

of the Japanese Consular staff but not the Consul General

were attacked while on the Chinese side of the boundary
