A Japanese "warning" to Hong- Kong, the British island colony off Southern China, is reported to have been received there yesterday from Tokio. No confirmation of the report is yet obtainable in Hong-Kong, as the news reached there shortly before midnight by Hong-Kong time.

The Japanese Consul General, says a Hong-Kong dispatch to the Japanese Domei Agency, has alleged to the Hong-Kong authorities that a number of Chinese Government leaders who were engaged in political activities against Japan recently entered and left Hong-Kong. The Consul General, it is added, requested the complete suppression of these alleged activities and "warned

"" the Hong-Kong authorities that further tolerance might eventually involve Hong-Kong in the war.
