With reference to your letter of the
12th June, No. F.3330/2595/10, concerning a pro-
posal that a Chinese Officer might be stationed
in Singapore, I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners
of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the informa-
tion of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs,
that they concur with the views expressed in the
letters dated the 21st June and 23rd June from the
War Office and the Colonial Office on this subject.
2. A copy of this letter is being sent to
the War Office, Air Kinistry and Colonial Office.
