we made certain comments on the revised salary
scales which the Governor had forwarded.
this despatch the Governor agrees (1) that the
commencing salary in the medical and legal
services should be £700 a year instead of £760,
as in his first revised schedule. This was
already agreed to in the telegrams at 13 and 14
on the 1936 file, (2) the payment of residential
allowances has been revised to bring greater
uniformity.
