The University may at any time determine Invaliding. appointments on giving the appointee six calendar months' salary in lieu of notice if, in the opinion of a Medical Board consisting of two qualified Medical Practitioners, one to be appointed by the Council of the University and the other by the appointee, the appointee shall for any reason be permanently incapacitated, either mentally or physically, from fulfilling his duties. In the event of the appointee failing to appoint a Medical Practitioner within seven days of being called upon to do so the second Medical Practitioner shall be appointed by the Council of the Univer- sity.
