Submits comments by Bank of England
The comments which have been made
on the draft Bill are numerous, and although
it involves some repetition, I have thought it
advisable to set them out in order below. A
few general considerations have been raised:
they are:-
(1) Sir Fercy Ezechiel points out that
the Bill as a whole deals only with Companies,
and does not tackle the evil of small shop-
keepers blossoming out into Savings Bank
business.
This is as a result of the Committee's
report. They did not consider that it would be either desirable or practicable to attempt to devise such legislation, and I doubt if we can
