I am directed by Mr. Secretary Oremby Gore
to inform you that, subject to your being passed
by the Consulting Physician to the Colonial Office
as physically fit for service, he proposes to
select you for probationary appointment to the
Colonial service as an Aesistant Mistress
(Kindergarten), Education Department, Hong Kong, on
the terms and conditions set out in the enclosed
statement.
2. I am to explain that, on your discontinuing
contributory service in this country to take up
the appointment in Hong Kong, your superannuation rights in respect of the probationary period may be
safeguarded by making application to the Board of
Education as soon as possible for their consent to
the payment of contributions under Section II of the
Teachers (Superannuation) Act, 1925, so far as such
