With reference to my despatch No. 256 of October 17,1935, I have the honour to transmit to you, herewith, copy of a note from the Danish Government informing me that they have authorised the export of 1,800 machine guns with accessories by successive shipments to China via Hongkong.
2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs state that the licence is in the form of a letter from the Ministry of Justice to the exporting firm, a copy of which will be furnished to me shortly and I will transmit it as soon as it is received to the Governor of Hongkong.
3. I have transmitted a copy of this despatch to the Governor, Hongkong.
