With reference to Colonial Office letter of the

36 24th June 1936, No.53529/36, on the subject of the site

of the proposed new Naval Hospital at Hong Kong, I am

commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to

acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of

State for the Colonies, that My Lords hope to proceed

with the erection of the new Hospital during the financial

year 1937, and I am to request that, in the meantime, the

Admiralty option on the site at Stubbs Road may be renewed

by the Government of Hong Kong for a further period of

one year from the 1st April 1937, in accordance with

the arrangement sanctioned by the Secretary of State

in Colonial Office letter of the 29th July 1933,
