With reference to your letter

regarding the territorial waters of
Hong Kong, I am etc., to request you to
inform the Lds. Commrs. of the Admiralty
that he concurs in the proposal to
authorise the insertion in the China
Station Order Book of the definition of
FURTHER ACTION.

the Colony contained in Hong Kong
Ordinance No. 31 of 1911, together with

a note to the effect that H.M.G. do not
claim jurisdiction over any part of the
sea area included in the definition,
it
but that they claims the usual territorial
rights over the waters bordering the
territories of the Colony.
2. It should be clearly understood
at the same time, that any islands
included in the area defined were and
are ceded to Hong Kong, and are
therefore territories of the Colony.
